This is an innovative, day-long program that examines the process of trust-building given the new complexities facing the criminal justice system.
In the post 9/11 environment it is imperative that all parts of the system work together to prevent terrorism and other forms of extremism.
Prevention requires the vigilance and cooperation of communities. Never before has trust between the community and the criminal justice system been so necessary.
By introducing models such as Dimensions of Trust and Spectrum of Tolerance, among others, we look at the nature of trust and how to increase it in an environment of great diversity.
