Robbery/Accomplice Identification Course – Ulster County

The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services periodically trains police officers in designated IMPACT counties and surrounding areas to achieve and sustain long term crime reduction.  The course is designed for sworn law enforcement personnel and covers the investigation of robbery offenses from response to investigation to arrest and prosecution.   

  

 Course Topics:

 Proper case documentation of investigative steps

Apprehending a known perpetrator

Robbery Pattern Identification

Robbery Pattern Investigation

Accomplice Identifications

 

After Arrest:

 Legal Issue concerning Identification Procedures

Photo viewing by victims/witnesses

Photo Arrays

Physical Lineups
